The Second World Summit for Social Development (WSSD2), known as the World Social Summit 2025, is a landmark global event focused on fostering inclusive social development and addressing key challenges to enhance well-being for all. It serves as a platform for governments, civil society organizations, private sector actors, and other stakeholders to collaborate on policies that promote inclusivity, equity, and sustainability.
It will be held from November 4 to 6, 2025, in Doha, Qatar, where the Heads of State or Government will gather to adopt a declaration to advance global social development and reinvigorate efforts to implement the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and its 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Organisations whose accreditation has been approved should by now have received registration details. You may register here: https://indico.un.org/event/1019808/.
