Attilio Dada
Legacoop Lombardia
Attilio Dadda has dedicated his entire professional career to the cooperative movement, becoming a leading figure at both regional and international levels. Since 1990, he has held positions of increasing responsibility, beginning as General Manager of cooperatives in the services and environmental sectors.
He currently serves as President of Legacoop Lombardia, Vice President of Legacoop Nazionale, President of the Alliance of Lombard Cooperatives and, since 2022, Board Member of the International Cooperative Alliance (ICA). Throughout his career, he has promoted a vision of cooperation based on innovation, sustainability, inter-cooperation, gender equality, and intergenerational exchange.
Under his leadership, Legacoop Lombardia has strengthened its role as a catalyst for cooperative development, most recently through the creation of the Legacoop Lombardia Cooperative Hub, an innovative space designed to foster collaboration, networking, and shared projects among cooperatives, while enhancing the visibility and impact of the cooperative movement in Lombardy and beyond.
At the international level, Dadda advocates for a cooperative model rooted in strong identity, openness to innovation, and the capacity to build meaningful partnerships across sectors and communities.
About Legacoop Lombardia
Legacoop Lombardia is the regional branch of Legacoop and a key reference point for the cooperative movement in Lombardy, representing around 900 cooperatives operating across a wide range of sectors, from welfare and services to culture, logistics and housing.
As part of its commitment to strengthening cooperation, innovation, and inter-cooperative relationships, Legacoop Lombardia launched the Cooperative Hub in 2025. Conceived as a new model of representation and engagement, the Hub is an innovative space for collaboration, networking, and co-design, where cooperatives can connect, showcase their activities, build partnerships, and develop shared projects.
More than a headquarters, the Hub functions as a strategic ecosystem that fosters cross-sector synergies and promotes a sustainable and inclusive cooperative model. Among the cooperatives active in the Hub and participating in CM50 are CNS, a national consortium for complex service management; Insieme Salute, a mutual society providing supplementary healthcare; and UniAbita, one of Italy’s largest housing cooperatives.
