Hilde Vernaillen

P&V Group

Hilde Vernaillen has dedicated over three decades to the financial services industry, championing the mutual and cooperative business model in insurance. She frequently speaks at conferences on various insurance-related topics and the cooperative business approach.
Hilde became the CEO of P&V Group in 2011, following 20 years of service within the company. From 2016 to 2022, she served as Chair of the International Cooperative and Mutual Insurance Federation (ICMIF) and has been a board member since 2011. Additionally, she led the Belgian insurance association (Assuralia) as President of the Board and Executive Committee from 2019 to 2024, and has held leadership roles in several other organizations across Belgium and Europe (AMICE, …).
Currently, Hilde presides over the Board of Directors of Euresa, a network of 17 European mutual and cooperative insurance companies, Febecoop, which advocates for the cooperative model at regional, federal, and European levels. And VVOV/UAAM, the Belgian association of mutual insurance companies.
